socal in trouble

san diego - downtown - cheese

i wrote just the other day about the southwest facing an inevitable slap in the face in the coming years for it's wanton water usage. well, just today the san diego water authority has asked that residents cut their daily water usage from an average 180 gallons per day to 20. can you believe that? 180 gallons a day. i'm telling you, it takes an insane amount of water to keep a lawn green, and for what? to have your lawn be green? and don't forget about swimming pools and washing the 3 cars. these things are very important too.

get out now.
