after returning from my disastrous attempt to conquer france, by bicycle, i swore off touring. but that didn't last. at some point, i couldn't resist anymore and went up to my mom's to tour pennsylvania's pine creek trail.
it was really fantastic. it was late in the season and there were few other riders at all, which was nice as i needed some time away from humanity.
the trail was well kept and the towns along the way were pretty cool.
in addition to hiking or biking the trail, you can also kayak down the creek. that sounds like alot of fun to me.
this trail is highly recomended!

great allegheny passage on a bicycle
rode my bicycle from pittsburgh to washington d.c. through some of the worst flooding in pennsylvania in 100 years. all told, a fantastic trail, highly recommended.
