censorship @ the la times

i received an interesting email the other day from the los angeles times. apparently a comment i had left on an item wasn't sanitary enough for the censors.
i had given them many page views, while perusing a gallery entitled "weird road signs", or something similar. there were some hilarious signs there from all over the world. great engrish signs.
so, i cam across a sign that could only have been taken somewhere in the middle of the country. from the road, an adult video store, with massive a sign is shadowed by a billboard that states that "jesus is watching." it was a simple, funny picture, not requiring the flame war that had ensued in the photo's comments. i read through a few and realized that this is obviously a war between the saved and unsaved, with neither side budging.
then, i decided to throw in my two cents. in the comment field i wrote "if jesus is watching me, then he's a freaking pervert." it was innocent enough, obviously tongue-in-cheek. i hit the submit button and forgot about it.
aday later, i looked in my spam folder and found an email from yourscene@latimes.com with the subject "Your comment has been rejected at Your Scene." i had just happened to glance at the email, as it could have been some kind of spam, but i decided to open it and see what was going on. this is what the email said: "Your comment below has been rejected. Please review the Your Scene Terms of Service at http://yourscene.latimes.com and try again. We hope to see you at Your Scene."
i'm not offended and don't really care, but please, don't censor me and then ask me to "come back and see us real soon, ya hear".
